has been working with ECOPETROL S.A. (National Oil Company of Colombia)
for the last 15 years. John is an applied geoscientist with ample
experience in the integration of geological information with gravity, magnetics, seismic and remote sensing data in the search for
hydrocarbons and ore deposits and in the assessment of environmental
problems. He is also skilled in the use of instrumentation, interpretation
software, GIS and data integration tools.

Obi Egbue is a PhD
student in Geology working on the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia and adjacent
basins. His research involves the integration of potential field data (gravity
and magnetics) with seismic data, to develop a regional cross-section across the
Eastern Cordillera of Colombia. Obi has a Bachelor's degree from the Federal
University of Technology Owerri and has some experience working in both the oil
industry and the IT sector. His work at the Andean Geophysical Lab involves the
use of GM-SYS, Geosec 2D, and ArcGIS softwares.
