OUR EXPERIMENT:
We got a celery, flowers, food color, and glasses of water, then we put some flowers in the glass, and the celery. One week later you can see the water run up the stem of the flower, and the celery's vein.
WHAT WE LEARNED:
We learned that when a plant is cut from it's roots it's still living, it also able to take up water. We learned that plants take up water from the bottom and move it up to the other parts of the plant.
