    The Scientific Method
The scientific method is a part of life science.  The first step is making a hypothesis, data collecting, measurements, observations, and classification.  Once you've done all this you come up with a result.
    Famous Scientists
We talked about some famous scientists.  Jacques Cousteau created the first underwater breathing system called "AquaLung."  He went under the sea in submarines and studied marine biology.

We also learned about Evan Forde who studies rocks and coral reefs underwater.  He also does a lot of work in submarines.  He was the first African American to work on research submarines.
