Question
Does temperature vary as a result of location?
Materials
Temperature probe
map of MLK park
Methods
We measured the temperature of both the air and the ground at various locations in MLK park.
Hypothesis
The air will be warmer in the sun than in the shade. The parking lot will be warmer than the grass or water.

Conclusions
The temperature varies in MLK park as a function of location. The temperature was highest on the pavement because the pavement absorbs more energy from the sun. Changes in cloud cover may be responsible for lower air temperatures in the sun patch.
