Team Topo's purpose was understand how the surface features of the earth are translated onto topographic maps.  To begin learning on how those features came to exist and how those features are continually changing we did projects of drawing a map of the Hampton Hill Park, created topographic profiles using layers of cardboard and also build land features in the sand box.  These are a few of the projects we completed over the semester, for more details on what we did please see the Projects link at the top of the page. 

Team Topo consisted of four middle school students (Ali, Tyrek, Lauren, and Corey) along with team coaches Matt and Jordan who are graduate students at the University of South Carolina.  For more information on Team Topo Members please see the Team Members Link at the top of the page.
