FIELD DIRECTIONS

 

Ballentine Fields

FROM COLUMBIA- Take I-26 towards Spartanburg till you come to the Peak Exit. This will be exit 97. Take a left and go over I-26 for about 7/10 of a mile until you come to Bickley Road. Take a right onto Bickley Road and follow for about 8/10 of a mile till you come to Bird Road. Take a right onto Bird Road and you can drive straight into the soccer complex. If you go over some Railroad tracks and come to a stop light at the CVS you have gone to far.  

 

Clemson Tournament

Take I-26 to Spartanburg. Then Merge onto I-385 N via the exit on the LEFT

toward LAURENS/GREENVILLE (around Exit 52?). Next take I-85 S toward Atlanta.

Take Exit 19b, which is Hwy. 76 To Clemson. This will take us all the way

into Clemson. At the end of this road it will intersect with US-123. Our

Hotel will be on the right just before this intersection.

 

To the game:  From the Ramada Inn, tournament check-in take Highway 123 South towards Clemson.  At the intersection with College Ave, turn left to head into downtown Clemson.  Follow College Ave through town, and when you get to the Subway, take a right at that stop light.  Follow this until your first stop light, then turn left (Explorer's bar will be on your right hand side).  The intramural fields will be on your right hand side about 200 yards up

 

College of Charleston

Take 26 East

26 East will turn into 17  (There will be a sign that says END 26 BEGIN 17).  Stay to the RIGHT.

You will stay on 17 and pass through what is called Crosstown.  There are fast food restaurants to your left and right. 

        DO NOT GO OVER THE I-17 bridge!!!

After you pass Arby's (on your Right), you will want to get IMMEDIATELY into the far left lane to turn (at the stoplight).

When you make this left turn you will go up the ramp that reads something like "to James Island."

When you go up the ramp it will take you on the connector.

You are going to take the SECOND exit, Exit #2  "Harbor View Road Exit" 

At the end of this road, you will come to a "T", Fort Johnson Road. Take a right.

The Annex will be 1.5 miles down on the left, PAST JAMES ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL

The field will be the front first field (On the left)

CoC wears MAROON.

 

 

Davidson Fields

 

Take I-77 N to exit 30 (in North Carolina). It will say Davidson College on the exit. Turn onto the main road following the signs toward Davidson. You'll go a mile or so and through a stop light to Main Street. Turn left onto main street at the light. Pass the entrance to Davidson (on your right) and go to one of the first roads after it called Ridge road. Turn Right onto Ridge road. We're playing on the "practice soccer fields" that will be on your left down the road a little bit. You'll see some parking straight ahead. The fields are across the street from the golf course, so you know you're in the right area if you see the golf course.

 

 

Fuhrman

 

Take I-26 West towards Greenville and  merge left onto I-385 North to Greenville. Travel north on I-385 all the way into the city of Greenville. When you reach Church Street, I-385 will have become Beattie Place. Cross over Main St. and proceed straight across Academy, Butler and Atwood for 1.3 mile. (During this portion Beattie Place will change names to College and then Buncombe.) Stay in the right lanes. Veer right onto Rutherford Street at a stop light. Furman is 5.8 miles from this point. (Shortly after turning onto Rutherford Street there is an intersection with Rutherford Road. Keep going straight. At that point Rutherford Street becomes Poinsett Highway.) take the Furman university exit (past the one that says "Timmons Arena"). when you enter the main entrance you'll see a big fountain. drive about 1/4 of the way around the fountain and turn onto the first actual street. the signs should direct you toward North Village. the soccer field is about a quarter mile on your left- kinda on a hill. there is a small parking lot beside it.

 

 

Seven Oaks Park

Take I-26 West towards Spartanburg
Take the Piney Grove Road Exit and turn Left at the Stoplight at the end of the offramp
Continue down Piney Grove Road (about 1 mile) and you will see Leaphart Elementary School on your left
Make a left on the frontage road beside the school (just before the train tracks)
There should be an available parking lot on your second left (not the school traffic circle)
Walk thru the playground, the fields are down the huge hill.   

Spring Valley Presbyterian Church

Take I-20 towards Florence to the Clemson Road exit (#80). Take a left onto Clemson Road over the interstate until you see the Exxon Gas Station. Take a left onto Sparkleberry Lane and go until you see Spring Valley High School on your left and Spring Valley Presbyterian Church on your right. Turn right into the church parking lot entrance and drive around back of the church. The fields are located behind the church. Park in the church parking lot.
