3. GEGEO faculty recommendations.

4. Student interview.

The selection process is open to all GEGEO students in the geotechnical program at UNGE. A minimum grade point average of 2.5 at USC is required to retain the GEGEO scholarship.

The GEGEO Scholarship Award:

Provides GEGEO Students with tuition, books, board (on-campus housing and meals), and a monthly stipend to cover general living expenses. In addition, the scholarship covers student field trips and one round trip flight to Malabo to visit family.

GEGEO Academic Areas:

GEGEO Scholars can pursue Geology, Geophysics, or Engineering degrees. At present, the scholarship selection process will give preference to students interested in pursuing degrees in engineering. Each degree option has GEGEO academic advisors assigned to the scholars to maximize the student’s educational experience at USC.
