GEGEO SPONSORSHIP

The GEGEO Program is funded by generous grants from the petroleum industry and is supported by the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Equatorial Guinea, the University of South Carolina and the National University of Equatorial Guinea.
 

SANR. GEGEO was initiated with a grant from South Atlantic Natural Resources. SANR has a long-standing interest in Equatorial Guinea, and have provided fellowships for Equatorial Guinean students completing graduate studies in Geological Sciences at USC.

ExxonMobil, a major oil producer in Equatorial Guinea, was the first Full Sponsor of the GEGEO Project with a two-year commitment for 2004-2005.
