Welcome
The Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences
offers graduate programs leading to the
Master of Science and Doctor of
Philosophy degrees. The department
expects that all graduates will have an
understanding of the fundamental
principles and practices related to the
primary areas of the Earth and Ocean
Sciences.
The
graduate program has no department-wide required
curriculum with core courses. Rather, a
specific Program of Study is created for each
student in consultation with his/her major

2009 Grad Student Grillout - Held on Friday April 24th at the Strom Thurmond Wellness Center the Geology grads got together for food fun and festivities, affectionately called Rock-out at the Grill-out!
