MS - 2005

Christine finished her MS degree with us in 2006.  Her thesis research was a mineralogic and petrologic study of mafic and ultramafic xenoliths from Kharchinsky Volcano, in Kamchatka.

This photograph shows Christine riding in the back of our truck on the road from the city of Petropavlovsk to her field site at Kharchinsky Volcano, in the Kamchatka Central Depression.  Christine was also involved in field work on Buldir Volcano, the westernmost emergent volcano of the Aleutian Island arc.

Christine received her Batchelor’s degree in  geology from Dennison University in 2003.  She currently resides in northern California with her husband Doug.
